I downloaded a web browser called NeoPlanet. It asked me whether I wanted to use it as a default browser. After saying No a couple of times as a precaution, I clicked Yes. Later I deleted this program completely and now I cannot access any website. Every time I try to access a site a 'program not found' dialog box pops up to tell me that 'Windows cannot find neo.exe (NeoPlanet)'.
We haven't experienced this problem, but the following ought to fix it. First, open Control Panel and double-click on the Internet icon. When Internet Properties pops up, click on the Programs tab. Ensure that the box 'Internet Explorer should check whether it is the default browser' is checked, then click ok.
Now start Internet Explorer. You can do this using its entry on the Start menu, but if you can't find an entry for it click Start, Run, type 'iexplore' and hit Enter. Internet Explorer should start and ask you if you want it to be your default browser, to which you should answer Yes.
